We’re excited to be participating in the Veuve Clicquot Burger Challenge 2024.

Our talented chef has crafted a mouthwatering feed, we are proud to introduce the CHAMBURGER by Veuve.

Buttermilk fried chicken in Māori Bread, cranberry and beetroot Veuve Clicquot chutney, brie, pickled cucumber, lollo rosso, served with Kawakawa salted Taro chips and red pepper Aotearoa walnut dips. 

This dish offers a gourmet fusion of flavours, blending the richness of the buttermilk fried chicken with the unique textures and tastes of Māori Bread, which is soft and slightly sweet. The cranberry and beetroot Veuve Clicquot Chutney adds a tangy yet elegant twist, complimenting the creamy brie. Pickled cucumber brings a refreshing contrast, while the lollo rosso adds a slight bitterness to balance the richness of the dish. Paired with Kawakawa salted taro chips, this adds a crisp, earthy crunch while the Aotearoa walnut dip provides a nutty, smokey depth. This entire dish showcases a blend of earthy, savoury, sweet and fresh flavours that celebrate both local ingredients and gourmet innovation. Combined with a glass of Veuve Clicquot – this is the perfect dish.
